Ping Pong Pinging it’s way to the East Grinstead Primary Schools

On Monday 20th October, four East Grinstead Primary Schools took part in the annual Table Tennis Tournament for girls and boys in years 4, 5 and 6.

St Mary’s, Estcots, The Meads, and Copthorne all took part in a round-robin event at Sackville School, which enabled the children to demonstrate their ‘ping pong’ skills.

As a result of the quality coaching already taking place in the schools (from MMJ Table Tennis Agency), the standard was high.  All children that took part received certificates and medals.

In the Girl’s Section:

1st = ESTCOTS
2ND = COPTHORNE
3RD = MEADS
4TH = ST MARY’S

In the Boy’s Section:

1st = COPTHORNE
2ND = MEADS
3RD = ESTCOTS
4TH = ST MARY’S
