Annual inter-schools Mini Tennis Festival
On Wednesday 16th May, Year 3 & 4 pupils from seven local Primary Schools took part in the annual inter-schools Mini Tennis Festival at the East Grinstead Sports Club. With the weather being kind, the event kicked off with racquet and ball 'skill' games before the schools competed against other schools in some fun matches. Read more
Chartham Park donate a TRI GOLF set to Primary Schools
On Wednesday 29th September Chartham Park, through their Head of Coaching, Ben Knight, donated a TRI GOLF set to the East Grinstead cluster of Primary Schools. There to receive the fantastic equipment was Steve Hill (School Sports Co-Ordinator for Imberhorne School), Elaine Foxwell (Primary Link Teacher for St. Mary's) and Judith Smith (Primary Link Teacher for West Hoathly).Read more
OFFICIAL: National School Sports Week is a Success!!
Over 250 YR3 children from schools all around East Grinstead participated in a Sports Fair for The National School Sports Week. Steve Hill (School Sport Co-ordinator for Imberhorne School) organised the event in association with Mid-Sussex School Sports Partnership and the Imberhorne School sports leaders. Read more
Cricket Success for Felbridge
On Friday 21st May we went to the East Grinstead Sports Club where eleven schools were competing in a Yr 6 Kwik Cricket Tournament. Read more

Girls Football tournament

On the 4th of November Imberhorne School held a five a side girls football tournament. Four primary schools - Copthorne, St Marys's, Estcots and Halsford Park competed in this round robin event. More details

Sport Leaders and Play leaders team up for day of skipping coaching
Sport Leaders from Imberhorne Secondary School and Play leaders from Halsford Park Primary School teamed up for a day of skipping coaching on Friday 11th September. Read more
Area Sports Final Scores and Positions

The annual East Grinstead Area Sports Athletics event took place on Wednesday 8th July at Sackville School. All 13 East Grinstead based Primary Schools took part in the traditional summer send-off competition. Read more

On the 20th of June 2009 eight pupils from St. Mary's school went to Devonshire Park in Eastbourne to play tennis for the school and had a wonderful surprise at the end ! Read more

Have fun and Keep Fit

East Grinstead Rugby Club field teams in the Sussex leagues from Under 13s (school year 7) through to Under 17s and Under 18s, Colts (sixth form). We always welcome new players who want to play a competitive and enjoyable standard of Rugby; the game that Martin Johnson describes as "the ultimate team game".

On Wednesday the 1st April 10 teams from various surrounding schools took part in a girl’s 5-a-side football tournament at East Grinstead Football Club. All the girls demonstrated an outstanding level of enthusiasm and skill making the day a real success. Read more
